Everyone's been on the 07 Allen and Ginter kick lately. Living here in central Indiana, there aren't very many card stores. So, when Wal-Mart gets a shipment of A&G you know I have to get every one they have. I bought 6 blaster boxes the other day. I pulled this card out of one and didn't really think too much about it. Well, turns out it's worth a bit of $$$. Tonight I sold it on Ebay for $275!!! This is the most expensive card I've ever owned. Part of me is sad that I'm going to be parting with it. But, since I'm not really collecting this set I'm not to upset. I just wanted to make sure that it was not forgotten by putting it on here. So, CONGRATULATIONS TO ME!!!!

2007 Allen and Ginter....

I'm sure everyone knows by now that the hottest item currently is the 2007 Allen and Ginter Baseball cards. I fell into the draw of these cards after talking to a few people and seeing them on Ebay.

I went to a local card shop on Saturday and got a box. This is what I pulled. Needless to say I was pleased.

Just a few years too late...

This was a recent find from a 1994 Topps Series 2 box rip. Just a couple of years too late. Too bad I can't cash in on some of those cards!

1994 Topps Series 1 Rip...

Well, a while back I bought 2 boxes of 1994 Topps Series One Baseball in my quest for the complete set of Redemption cards. I thought it might be worthy to sell at the last show, but none of them sold. So, tonight I decide to rip into them. I found two of these Jeter Rookie cards. I'm not even halfway done yet. So there's no telling what else I might find. Thought it was worth posting about.

The Meaning...

Some of you are probably reading this and going, "What does The Coop Stoop mean?" Well, for those of you who are or are not familiar with the great sport of Baseball, Coop stands for Cooperstown where the Baseball Hall of Fame is located and Stoop is a place where people congregate to chat about life. Hence, The Coop Stoop...a place to chat about Baseball, but more importantly the collection of its memorbilia which is largely cards. So, feel free to email me or drop me a line if you'd like to add a pic of a card that is in your collection. I'd love to hear from you about your card and why it's in your collection.
Until then...let's have some fun!
